The Family Engagement Survey—Version 2 (FES–2), developed through a collaborative partnership with the Kansas Parent Information Resource Center (KPIRC) and the University of Kansas, is based on the standards for family–school partnerships endorsed by the Kansas State Board of Education. The Inclusive MTSS Implementation Scale (IMIS), developed in collaboration with Kansas MTSS and Alignment and the University of Kansas, evaluates a school’s tiered framework, including reading, math, and behavior/social-emotional learning. This scale is designed to be completed by all instructional staff and administrators in a district. District and school leadership teams review the data to document areas of strong implementation, determine the effectiveness of existing communication loops, and target areas for growth within their current systems. The Educate Kansas Teacher Recruitment and Retention Survey, developed through a collaborative partnership with Kansas State University, the University of Kansas, Educate Kansas, and the Kansas State Department of Education, guides district and building leaders in analysis of their successes and areas for growth in recruiting and retaining educators. The survey is designed to be distributed to every educator in the district.
